Status
We have set up a few GitHub repositories.
The project has a complete first version, but there are issues (no parallel Huffman implementation, slowdowns in BWT and MTF). This may be due to the algorithm handling method we chose, or due to our input-taking method, or some other reason(s).
The serial version was written for our benchmarking purposes, and so that we could generate a project structure (core function -calling code, etc.).
Due to prior commitments, neither of us will be working on this project in the near future. However, we will be available for contact, help and jazz. We invite developers to fork and take up where we left off! We will be standing by in case any queries are there for us. Pull requests will be welcomed, too.
